Overview

The Florida Initiative forChildren's  Healthcare Quality's (FLICHQ) release of Child Health and Healthcare Quality in Florida is the result of a two year collaborative effort by many organizations and individuals who made significant contributions towards its completion. Our partner in this endeavor is the Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) at the Oregon Health & Science University without whom this report would not have been possible. Specifically, this report and its companion website reflect the efforts of Christina Bethell PhD, Jessica Johnson,BA, Evette Larry,MPH, Jean Lee RN, PhD, Samantha Neal,MPH, Kathleen Newton,BA, Debra Read, MPH, Lisa Simpson, MB,MPH, FAAP, Amanda Schall, MA and Richard Smith,PhD. Who We Are

The Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative

The Child and Adolescent Health Measurement Initiative (CAHMI) was established in 1997 to ensure that children, youth and families are at the center of quality measurement and improvement efforts in order to advance a high quality consumer-centered health care system. CAHMI is based at the Oregon Health and Science University and focuses on measures of child and adolescent health and healthcare quality.

The Florida Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality

The Florida Initaitve for Children's Healthcare Quality (FLICHQ) was established in 2003 as an initiative of the University of South Florida, with major funding from the All Children's Hospital Foundation.  FLICHQ's mission is to improve the quality of health care for all children in Florida and the nation through research,, teaching and the translation of knowledge into effective policies and practices.
